Anyone know where I can get my hands on an intake tube for a 4.0 engine? It's for an XKR but assume the xk8 is the same. I ONLY need the part that goes into the throttle body and a few inches before to attach to my custom cold air piping. It seems silly to buy a new one just to cut it up, hoping someone has one with leaking bellows that they would give or sell at a reasonable price.

I believe there "are" differences between the 8 and the R tubes, but not an authority on the subject. If there are, they are probably just in the number/length of the resonance chambers. Both "may" physically fit either car, but check to be sure.

 

I have one from my teardown 97. Sure looks the same anyway.

I had actually bought a new one to replace the old one, so it doesn't have that many miles on it. Will send you a PM.
