Default Photos of my early Daimler sovereign series 1

Finally pick up my second Daimler sovereign series 1 This is a very early car with some of the early features <br/>Its in better condition than I first thought looks like the front and rear end have been rebuilt may be the an engine rebuild new radiator and a stainless steel exhaust this was ment to be spares for my other Daimler but I think I'll have to try and presserve it for restoration

Too good for spares car I reckon.

A Daimler is always a Daimler, and the earlier cars were set apart from the later versions.

Pretty Car!
I don't think I've ever seen one 'for real.' I wonder if they weren't imported.

Nice car!

When I opened this post I was startled, as your pictures looked so much like my S2 I just got.

I hope I've attached the picture correctly.

Good luck,

Rob

Love the chrome around the gauges, my 73 doesn't have that. And the adjuster on the clock to keep it in time.
Have only seen it on 69 S1's.

(Picture taken on the New England highway doing 80 mp/h) to show Grant Francis the low temps I was getting at normal running at the time. Was running way too cold, got it right now $7000 later.

My 1970 S1 has the chrome surrounds.

Oil pressure looks low for 80 mph Clarke ?

Dodgy sender, it was running 50 psi with a mechanical gauge fitted for testing.
Reads over 60 psi now, new sender was part of the rebuild.
