Default Mini Jaguar chrome emblem for key fob

One thing i was really hoping for, was a leaper on my 2015 R keyfob. It only has the words JAGUAR in the chrome strip on the bottom. Anyone find any mini leaper chrome badges that could be permanently applied to each side?

The closest thing I could think of would be a dashboard emblem, but I expect even that would be too long. An alternative would be to check out leather key fog covers. The fob covers have the added advantage to protecting the fob from scratches. There are a bunch to choose from on e-bay.

Maybe this is kind of what you are looking for? My key came like this, so I cannot really point you in any direction for where to find it. If this isn't what you were thinking, then ignore me.

Get the leather key fob cover off eBay. $30. Leaper on one side.

Mine is about 10 months old, and still in great shape.

There are two types of fob used with the F-Type so far. They are shared with other models.

The one on the left is current and was used from the mid 2014-MY onwards. It has embossed JAGUAR script on both sides of the metal section and a plain matt body.

The one on the right was earlier and used from launch. It has a plain metal section and the rear half of the body is gloss black plastic with a silver JAGUAR and leaper printed on it. The front half is matt.

Having seen a couple of the earlier ones after a few years of use they get quite scratched which I suspect is why they changed the design to the matt plastic finish all over.

Mueller's key above appears to be a hybrid, with one part changed at some point. (The fob is available separately from the metal finisher, so it is possible to mix and match, but Jaguar supply only one style with the car.) To replace the metal finisher you just slide the new one on, but to replace the fob you need to code the new key to your car.

If you get really desperate i'd recommend this key ring as its not a cover for the main fob or anything. Its from Jaguar but i have no idea how much it cost. It was a gift. Certainly makes the keys looks more flash haha

Interesting - I have the one on the left, though I took delivery in June of 2013. I actually like it better than the other one, though since it stays in my pocket (with keyless entry and pushbutton start) I seldom see it.
