i consider about this 5.25" space for the license plate.
In germany you have to fix a front license plate.
The breath of the plate is 4,33" and i hope i can fix it between the bottom part of the surround and the bottom of the emblem...an it looks good...

I think you will find this to be an easier and better looking solution:sto'Nsho
Well i think this solution destroys the front lip.
My plate is 15.7" x 4.33"
I think it looks better on the grill between the surround an the emblem, but flavors are different...
I' ll see it, if i'll have the grill and try it...
The stoNsho gets mounted to an existing bolt under the splitter, so no parts are damaged. My plate is 21"x5" and the stoNsho accommodates any size. You will just need to find a plate frame that fits your plate. Also, if you mount the plate over any part of the grille, you will reduce a substantial amount of airflow through the radiator.
Do you guys really get stopped for no front plate? Tennessee is an NFLP state, No front license plate. So I don't have that problem. I have visited my daughter in Austin, Texas twice, and see a lot of cars with no front plate, even though that is a front plate state.
This has been discussed many times. Many of us run without front plates. In MA, we used to have only rear plates (which have green letters.) Now we're front and back, with red letters. But if you have an old green plate, you can still use it.
I got new plates with the Jag (two red plates, all you can get new now), but I only put the front plate on for state inspection. Nobody has ever taken an interest in only having a rear red plate. I was nervous for the first year every time I saw a cruiser, but no one seems to care around here.
Some have mentioned that their meter maids are aggressive in ticketing cars without a front plate.
Looks are subjective but the best looking set up I've seen so far is Polaris'
I have the Sto N Sho and plan to leave it "sto'd" in the trunk unless I get stopped. They are a quality solution that only takes 0.5 seconds to remove and install.
I did get stopped in OH years ago, in a Lincoln Continental. I did not have a front plate, but had it in the car to show the officer. I told him I had moved from another state (true) and did not yet have a front plate bracket. No ticket for the plate, but I still got the speeding ticket.
Is there any way to replicate this look without buying a new mesh grille? I have the vision package with the sensor so it's going to be tough to get the sensors to have the same effect I feel.

How difficult is it to install the stoNgo base on to the underside of the bumper? Have a feeling i'm gonna need one of these around where I live lol
