Default Exhaust note

Anyone with a v6 base managed to make their exhaust a bit deeper sounding? Also, a little louder at low RPMs? If anyone has videos feel free to post.

that's what I don't like about the v6, no low rumble note and not loud enough! cruising beside other exotics it puts the v6 to shame. Sucks that there aren't any good exhaust systems out there for the v6 that really changes it up. Looking at you armytrix

It's interesting how perceptions differ. The reason I like the V6S is that it sounds like an exotic. The R, to me, sounds like American muscle with Cherry Bomb pipes. The rumble comes from cylinder displacement.
V8: 0.625l/cyl.
V6: 0.5l/cyl.
The muffler isn't going to change that.

I agree with Lance. I actually think the V6 is the exotic sounding one and the V8 sounds like every other muscle car to me, no offense V8 guys. Here is a video of my V6 S with Velocity AP converters, resonator delete, and a Velocity AP tune. Check out my channel cause I have many other videos of the exhaust so you can get a good idea what the overall sound is. I'm HIGHLY satisfied with Velocity AP.

I still like the sound of the v8 better.

I prefer the sound of the V8 better too, though they both have their appeal. personal preference.

Both preferences are 100% the right answer.

I'm sure one of the aftermarket exhaust suppliers will be able to fix that...Quicksilver, Paramount..or something a little prettier....

I don't think that the V8 sounds like any US V8 that I have heard...admittedly we don't have many US cars over here.

Sit tight guys. We have the jig done for the V8 exhaust, and going into production with that very soon. The vast majority of the V6 exhaust is fundamentally the same, in terms of fitment.

I need a V6 OEM pattern to jig up the tailpipe locations and then we will have something for you. Will be similar in price to the V8 units which are at $1895 non-valved.

Stuart: PM me the details of what you need to get the v6 muffler design up and running. I worked with another company just recently on doing a quad tip exhaust for the v6.
