Talking Regarding startup setup

Hi guys,

was just wondering, during startup, my ECO setting always turns on and Exhaust is always off. Is there any setting where the default is that ECO is off and Exhaust is on?

On a side note.. when do you guys open your exhaust and close your exhausts? Why would we close them ??

Oh and.. for the front light settings, what are those short, medium and long lines under the "AUTO" setting?

I also saw someone posted some jaguar accessories (ex. Umbrella holder mount for the trunk), anyone know where a good website is to buy those?

Thanks guys!

1. Default setting is ECO (auto-stop/start) engaged, muffler valves closed. The ECO can be disabled (see previous posts for full instructions based on model year. I seem to remember that the muffler valves could be left permanently open by removing a fuse.
2. I leave the muffler valves closed when chauffeuring my spousal unit around or when entering our quiet and sedate neighborhood.
3. 15-25% off parts:www.jaguarlasvegasparts.com/ Call them for the part numbers before trying to placing your order online. You can then also use that part number to comparison shop on eBay and Amazon.

The umbrella holder's part number is T2R11274.

It's on Amazon for $137.25: http://amzn.to/2iDS3yT

T2R11274 is only $105 US from a main dealer. Don't be afraid of your local dealer - they are often the cheapest place to supply parts. If you are a service customer you should expect at least 15% off.

We are still paying for our parts here in pre-Brexit dollars. That
£85 part is selling for US$182 retail, and can be gotten for $122 at the online parts vendors Umbrella Holder | Genuine Jaguar | T2R11274 : Genuine Jaguar OEM Factory Parts Sold at Wholesale Prices | Jaguar of Las Vegas

BTW, it appears some of the ECU programming should soon be able to allow you to set your default startup options (per some of the postings by VelocityAP).

The light setting are to leave the lights on for various number of seconds to light the path to your destination. You can shut them off immediately with the key fob.

I am testing out the modified ECU tune from Velocity - what they have done is extend the timeout for when the stop start would kick in, such that it doesn't (or at least that’s my understanding from Chris). The button still allows you to turn it off as before but so far when I have forgotten, the ECO mode hasn't kicked in.

So if I put it on the longest line, it means my lights will be AUTO (ex turns on automatically when it's night time) and also will stay ok the longest after I lock my car?

thanks !
