Tire photos just for fun.

I'm in the Preston Hollow/Preston Center area. I see a few coupes around (white, black, blue) but haven't seen your color.

i've been eyeing these up, specifically for my m3 f80 competition, as i've already switched to the mpss on the jag

my m3 runs 30 series tyres, and looking at pics, the ps4s has a noticeabley larger and squarer shoulder than the oe mpss it currently has on it, so much so they almost look like a 35 series

There is a cars and coffee in Plano. Are you guys looking to show? gotta get there at five or six on the morning for a spot. I live right down the street, but it sucks being the lone Jag there so I just show up at a later time to look around. Wish there was an organized group of Jag owners that would be open to getting their cars there early to have cadre of Jags lined up...that would be sweet!!!

The PS4s....best tires I have ever had. Period.

I've been 2 or 3 times. I get up there around 6. There were a few F-Types one day....even Park Place brought a new SVR. I'm unfortunately working this weekend so won't make it, but I will defiantly go next month in May.

I grew up in Plano and I'm always up there checking up on my Mom. Maybe see you around.

for sure. So how do you like Autoscope? I am thinking of using their Plano location to do the R&R on the crank pulley. Are their rates reasonable...as in not $183/hour like the dealership?

I haven't used Autoscope. I believe that was another poster that said he used them. I'm not really planning on moding my car at the moment.

Cherry - you seem on the fence regarding the 4s tires. Now I am unsure if they are a good tire option.

I've only driving maybe 50 miles on them since I put them on my F. And I'm very pleased with them. They are much quieter then the P-Zeros. What everyone on the forums says about the original Pilot Super Sports, I'm confident the 4S will be even better. Just my opinion.

I'm sure I will agree - was just being a smart *** since Cherry is the dominant 4s cheerleader here.

lol....I was wondering what that was about...hahaha

...but really, the 4s is the best....really grips the pavemement. They give you lots of confidence on the long swoops.

...anyone make it out to C and C this morning?

Tire rack won't have the 4S rears until 5/5 or so they say. Are they backordered everywhere?

Looks like they do have the 19s in stock. I just noticed this morning that one of my rears is worn to the indicator. Two miles shy of 15K on the originals, si I can't really complain.

I take the 20" though on my R. Looks like you got good wear on your 19's

Lots of commuting. I think if I were having fun all the time they'd have been toast a year ago.

I'll stick with the 19s though. I can't get a brush between the front caliper and the barrel of the rim, but I think I need to keep what little sidewall I've got. Part of my commute is looking like a rallycross course from rocks, dirt, and bits of trees washing onto the road and chunks of pavement washing off of it.

Funny that three of my tires are still passable but the right rear is at the indicators. You'd think some kind of delinquent had been driving, but I know that's not the case.

Hang on a sec ... where'd I put that halo?

Anyway, the P4S was available and a set is now waiting for me at my preferred tire/alignment shop. I've got a Thursday appointment.

That's what you get for insisting on an LSD.

I've made worse decisions. Rather a lot of them, really.

feelling so good about these tires right now. I was chatting it up with a guy in a z4 35is at a light about my exhaust (I am betting he was thinking I was all growl and no bite) and we agreed to get on the on ramp for a run at a stretch of freeway....as hard as he tried he couldn't pull away (VAP Tune is legit!), we were taking a long sweeper and the my end started to kick out (110)..I started to correct and began turning into the slide, but the michelins bit hard and kept me going. There is only one thing I hate about the XF right now, and that is that it has so much goddamm body roll.

A Z4 35is is a pretty quick car stock! 4.7sec 0-60mph. Traction is good (esp with PSS!) and so is the DCT trans. A $400 tune on the N54 straight 6 twin turbo will bring that to low 4's. You did great!

yeah, i was surprised that those beemers are packing twin turbos...plus its almost ???500 lbs lighter???...pretty sure he was running a stock set up...the look on his face was "what the ****...how can this dude still be on my 6..." i could tell when his overboost kicked in because he nudged ahead and i thiught he was going to start pullin away, bt it only lasted about 2 seconds then i began reeling him in again. .... i would give my right nut for a way to have adjustable camber on these cars so we could lower them without chewing through tires every three months and for a less expensive option for front/rear swaybars...
