I know its a little early, but I just got my work schedule for May and finally have the first Saturday of the month off.

Anyone planning on going to Cars and Coffee in Plano next month? Be cool to get some F-Types together and of course any other cats that are around.

 

I'm up for it...if yo uare looking to have a spot, then it will be a early morning thing. most spots are filled by 6:30 AM....if you are serious send me a pm...i will show up for sure.

I'll drive through the lot around 9am...too early for me to get there for a parking spot.

 

I got moved to a different department/team, and now report to a manager in Plano. If I get sent to Plano to visit (I'm not moving) I'll see of it can coincide with one of these.

 

So whats the plan?

 

I'm gonna be there. Plan on arriving around 6 to 6:30. I say who ever gets there first maybe block of a few spaces so we cold park together. Thoughts?

 

I live literally five minutes away from there. I will volunteer to get there early and block off a few spots.

 

I don't even know if I will get a a spot for myself!!!

 

Well...here is the culprit responsible for my sudden coolant loss before the C&C event this morning....don't understand how this piece can be designed as a two piece sonic welded unit!!! Someone in JLR needs to be flogged !!! there has to be a point where costs need to be measured against reliability. If this part had failed at an inopportune time, it would have ruined my day .... I am lucky it happened on a Saturday morning.

C&C has become too frustrating having to get out there before 6am for a parking space.

Let's put together a North Texas / DFW Jag breakfast meet some Saturday morning around 8am somewhere.

 

I would be down for getting a group together for b-fast and a good drive.

 

Not only XF...isnt the same 3.0 engine configuration shared by FTypes, XJ, and XF lines? ... and hell yes, I think your proposal to get a group meetup is awesome.

 

The engine may be the same, but a lot of the ancillary equipment won't be (like water plenums perhaps).

Definitely up for a gtg instead of just hanging at C&C which has become a traffic/parking nightmare...
