I have a 2005 S type R and the rear level sensor that clips to the upper control arm is loose there was a big enough gap to put a 3/4 piece of hose in there to stop it from moving around any idea what really belongs in the space? should have a pic of the clip/ sensor I found.
Thanks, Rich
I took a number of photos of the rear end of my 2008 S-type before I removed it for a refurbishment. I don't know why there is all that clearance but you can see hear how it fastens.
Thanks for the photo my clip was loose and could be moved buy hand and my rear suspension had a squeak that I hope I have fixed with the piece of rubber hose that I put in the gap to hold it in place better?

I don't know about the STR but for my S-Types a squeaking rear means 1 or more rear suspension bushings are failing. Quite a few threads on this forum; please do a search. Also, YouTube has at least 1 video on bushing squeaks.
