Even then, I have zero legroom, knee room, or foot room. Good thing it is my wife's car - I drive it as little as possible....
I've been hoping for years to see the video posted.

Graham,

If my wife ever shoots a video of this and lives to tell about it, I will make sure she sends it to you....

Ok, I'm game, but I think the consequences are going to be far greater for me then just embarrassment in this one horse town. And I think my Valet button is broken. I push and push but Mr. Bates never shows up!

It's a fair question, though not for a car of the size of the XK, even with its quite compact and powerful engines.

(I'm a bit doubtful it would meet safety laws in every country, too.)

6'1" - 210 lbs ...
Right foot in, fall into the seat, try not to hit back of my head on roof.
Once I'm in, I'm good.

I'm about 6'. rear end in first, duck head and spin around. Getting out isn't as bad. It's funny, I just saw an old re-run of Two and a Half Men with Charlie and his brother Alan in Charlie's XK8 and they show Alan (in passenger's seat) being squashed against the windshield when Jenna Elfman and her daughter climb into the back seat. I'm thinking there's no way that isn't a studio mock-up in the close ups because Jenna Elfman is 6' tall - in the back seat of an XK8 ?

I injured a knee a few years ago and discovered the method of sitting down first then keeping ones knees together swiveling both legs together into the footwell. Getting out is the reverse of getting in. The only problem was the footwell wasn't deep enough. Then quite by chance another contributor to the site upload an extension piece he had fabricated and installed that moved the seat back another inch and a half. I tried it and it works, now I can get in and out without difficulty and have all the legroom I need.
Here's the picture he posted.
