Took the girls out to participate in the Boise Independence Day Parade (with an English car, of all things). I did spot a Land Rover pulling a float so I wasn't the only one. I will admit the Jag had to be the most stylish car in the parade. All had a good time despite the almost triple digit temps.

Aleather, Really nice looking Convertible! Must keep it parked a lot to only have 30,000 on it.....You should drive it more and enjoy it! Back in 1998, I had a Topaz Coupe.....of course the right Chain Tensioner broke and only bent 3 Valves....I was lucky!

Topaz, I heard allot about the plastic Chain Tensioner and other plastic parts that I should replace, but so far no problems with the engine. I may be pressing my luck by not replacing the plastic engine parts? <grin> Car rides like new and had minimum problems so far...It's basically a summer car.

Exclamation Hurry to your Jaguar Dealer

Aleather in Cape Cod, You are one Lucky Guy but you need to be realist my Friend....The first thing I would do tomorrow is very carefully drive to the nearest Jaguar Garage or Dealer and have those little Mistakes changed out. If you do that, it will, I guarantee it, save you $1,000.00's of Dollars.....Just think of what could happen.....Bent Valves, a Hole in the top of a Piston.....Absolutely nothing good is just waiting to happen! Been there and done that!

Nice Jag

You've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?

Please note that plastic tensioners become brittle and crack not because of miles, but because of time. Your car is 20 years old; I guarantee the tensioners are already cracked and waiting to shatter. It would be a shame to junk such a beautiful low-mileage dream car for want of a simple repair. (You need only replace the upper/secondary tensoners now--an easy repair--as the lower ones are much less likely to cause the chain to jump teeth when they shatter, and you'll certainly hear them when they do.)

I'm a software engineer who is lead developer on our customized CMMS and I work on as a developer/trainer/qa and tech reg expert on our fully in house developed MES. I have a decent sized office and dress business professional.

I wondered why no one kept taking that spot and when I was in the end stall on the bathroom at work some of the ladies actually were talking about it and all the people upstairs think it's a reserved space and that I'm a director lol. I still feel like I'm pretending to be an adult. I'm not going to correct them.

Funny part, the old Blazer is my bosses car lol.

Looks a good bit like Texas, with the exception of the broken stripes out lining the lanes!
