I actually really liked the Gulf livery!

As much as I liked the old wrap, I think the doors were a little plain and this new design looks like it's got a bit more going on. I'm looking forward to seeing the new wrap .

Pulled the kitty out to clean her up. Only one thing better than a Jaguar in the drive...that would be two Jaguars in the drive. Best cars I have ever owned.

chillyphilly,

You have the same Atlas chrome wheels that my wife's 2006 XK8 Victory Edition has. How is the chrome holding up for you?

Jon, mine is also a VE edition. It seems like I have gotten wind of other's chrome failing on this type of wheel, but mine looks to be holding up well. The 20" aftermarket wheels on the XJ8 on the other hand are not faring as well, but it undoubtedly has seen more wet weather/winter driving.

How's the chrome on hers?

Her chrome is beginning to flake away in spots around the tire valve on the two front wheels, one moreso than the other. The two rear wheels still seem to be holding onto their chrome thus far....

I hate these drug-dealer chrome wheels. She likes them, however, which is fine by me because I do not want to cough up the cash to replace them with something else....

Default Scotland: driving the North Coast 500

500 miles round the east, north and west coasts, top of Scotland. Amazing scenery, food and welcome plus nice 120 mph sections to stretch your legs

Admin (JimC64) will be jealous. He's been wanting to do the North Coast 500 for years.

The picture says it all.

The original house was built in 560 but has been added to quite a lot since. Originally it was a castle. Makes a lovely setting for the car too.

Cool frankc

What a nice looking Convertible! Those Montreal's really set it off! I think the Detroit's and the Montreal's are Jaguar's most beautiful wheels!

Well, here it is - wrapped in a newer Gulf scheme.
A Marmite thing, but I love it. It's actually not finished yet - another colour to add next week...
