Wow us with your XK8/R photos
Oyster, where in Norway are you, and your club members? I get to Stavanger a couple of times a year. It'd be too cool to be able to meet and compare Jag stories, and to see your beautiful car.
Best Regards,
Tony

I live in a town called Skien. That's in the south-eastern part of Norway, about a six hours drive from Stavanger on these crappy roads we have in this country. Not too many norwegians in this forum. The other XK8/XKR owners I know about live in the greater Oslo area. We have a national Jag-club, Norsk Jaguar Klubb, http://www.norskjaguarklubb.no/ with qouite a number of members all over the country. I don't know any in Stavanger, but maybe I will take a trip one time.

my wife and I lived in Kristiansand in 2002. We drove up the coast to Oslo through Lilisand and the other beautiful villages. I dreamed of driving our Jaguar along that coast! Enjoy yours in good health!
If your asking me yes those are OEM, they are called Apollo wheels and were only on 03 & 04 from what I've been able to find out. They were polished but from what I can determine is the dealer had them chromed before selling the car new as a dealer option. I wish they were still polished as the chrome is now flacking. I like them also, very cool.
After reconditioning the soft top all nice and clean. There are some really sweet cars thanks for sharing the pic's. I will try to chronicle my summer trips don't know if I can out do redcarrera but I'll try.

It depends entirely upon your age. If you're under 25, most couples can manage with a little imagination (and some well-choreographed yoga moves). But once you're past 40, fuggitaboutit and just go inside....
When I was younger a Honda Civic and an MR-2 didn't limit my, ah, urges. That MR-2 makes the Jag look like a limo. I will say I'm very happy it had T-Tops though... Now a cruise ship seems a bit cramped...
