I have no idea when this happened, definitely recently, but my dash has a cut in it! I'm in total shock and super pissed, only other people to handle my car is the dealer but I have no proof they caused this. Is there any solution to fixing this without purchasing a $4k brand new dash.

This happened to me. I was driving to a meeting with one of our partners and he said, "What happened to your dash?!" I looked and there was a slit in the leather. I instantly remembered the night before telling my 6 year old daughter to not put her feet on the dashboard.

Yep, my local car upholstery shop gets a specialist in for such repairs, I had a couple of small holes/tears in one of the door panels of my old XFS, the repair cost $65 and afterwards it was impossible to tell there had ever been any damage.

I feel your pain as I found a tear in the leather on the door. Not sure how it happened either except maybe from someone's shoe or other article. It really pissed me off too since it notably marred an otherwise pristine interior but I talked to an automotive upholsterer in town who assured me it was an easy fix. Vet out a high quality vendor in your area and you should be good!

Ugh. Looks like a pimple on a girl on prom night.

I found a fellow that was referred to me by an upholstery shop here in Cotati. He works mobile, but his area is between Santa Rosa and Novato. He does good work. The previous owner of my car probably had a yap dog and there was a deep gouge in the upper door panel. He patched, filled and dyed to match the grain. Can't tell if it was ever damaged.

If you don't find anyone, maybe you can come up here and meet him somewhere. If you don't find anyone else closer to you PM me and and I can give you his number. He is very busy and say he only works on high end cars lololololol.

This looks awesome. If I can't find anyone reputable, I'll happily come up north to get it done right. It hurts seeing this ugly tear every day
