I made some ramps today
9- 2 X 12 X 24 long, stacked glued and screwed, top board is 22" long for a lip to screw a 2 X 12 X 6 foot for ramp with 3- 2 X 12 strips stacked midway for support. Installed a stop so wont go to far.
Bottom of wheel is 15" off the floor. chocks behind front and rear wheels. 2 closet door mirrors so I can keep my eyes on the wheels as the car goes up.
Put in drive and it idles up the ramp, after the car is up remove the ramps.
I like knowing I'm completely safe underneath as I work alone.
Also works for the other 4 vehicles.
Will take pics later
2- 18' 2 X 12's and 1-12' 2 X 12

PICTURES ????
My ramps are store bought stamped steel. Busted one. No harm. BFH restored shape. I MIG's the crack. But, in "belt and braces" technique, I drilled it and attached a steel strap to bridge the crack.
I have a plethora of jack stands, some more trusty than others, and a lot of wood blocks for cribbing,
I prefer the ramps when feasible.

15" is not high enough laying on creeper, will be adding 3 more inches.
When I have the finished product will take pics.
Thinking next to my shop building, making concrete ramps 24" tall and long enough to drive Jag and other vehicles to get all 4 wheels on ramp and also concrete between the ramps so I wont be on the dirt.

If you're wanting that much clearance at least consider digging / pouring a concrete pit. Safer and just as effective.

A pit is way to much work, concrete bottom,4 walls, outside perimeter and drainage. I have talked to people that have built pits.
