I Just picked up my 2016 F-Type R AWD a couple weeks ago. Only had 1399 1 owner miles when I bought it. Certified so a great deal and great warranty. I find out something new every day it will do mostly thanks to this forum!!!

Jay, you should see if you can park your car inside if we visit the Portland Museum of Art - it's clearly art. (Ask the Top Gear clowns if a car can be art...)

 

Please Dave. You don't think I've already thought of that? I did find a splendid place to park my car yesterday while visiting the Museum with the Assistant to the Director on the grounds of the museum but there's a curb running, continuously, right where I'd have to climb and that's just not happening.

I was on my way to my dealer - Scarborough Jaguar/Land Rover - and as they are always so good to me, I have to be [want to be] good to them. So I stopped by my friends bakery - the "Standard" by which all bakeries should be measured - for a dozen croissant.

 

Whenever I take the kitty in for any type of service, it is always accompanied with a dozen donuts for the techs.

 

I feel like a dolt for being so giddily excited about this damned idea, in that I am in hospitality and should have thought of this. My goodness. I cannot wait to start doing this all the time. I like making people happy, and I even like doing it more, for no reason. =) But this is a fine reason.

 

LOL. I was born in Carmel, used to work down there, and the 2nd drive I took w/ my car was for my wife's job interview at Pebble. The first shots I ever took of my car was off 17mi drive.

It's home, so I knew your locale prior to seeing PG. A friend works there! It's a wonderful spot to stay, and it's closer to some of the better surf breaks in the area. Definitely not luxury, but man.... you brought about 15 differeny happy places and memories to me, with this pic.

Just picked up my 2018 F-type R-Dynamic Manual Transmission. What an unbelievable difference from the 2016. More details after I drive her for a bit. In the meantime some pics....
