where do they hide the obd2 input on the 1999 xk8 convertible

 

Generally it is in the are of your left knee. On my 97 it is at the extreme left next too the door. and is oriented vertically.

 

Unless the car is RHD it will be by your right knee.

 

Just an FYI: the 1996 law says it must be within 36 inches of the ignition key ( or driver I forget). It clearly states that it must be accessible by the driver in all cars sold in the USA (of course given the size of that market, everyone complies).
