Default Putting the front splitters - Any tips

Decided to go ahead with Mina's CF front spliiters. Guess need to be more carefull with parking and speed bumps

Based on the readings, I think its a good idea to use the supllied screws to further strengthen the 3M tapes.

Hope its going to look good on my 2012 All Black XF. Will post pictures,

Any other tips or thoughts?

I built my own and did not use double stick tape. I just used sheet metal self tapping screws. They seem to hold better especially if you use the kind that has built in washers. Since it is screwing in to the bottom of the flexible bumper assembly, I figure that the worse that could happen is that they will pull out.

Thanks. May be I will get a set of self tapping screws as well as it sounds like a better idea ( also avoid using a drill bit to drill for the regular screws supplied)

I have them and the only thing you have to watch out for is that little bit of rebar that sticks up from the parking curbs. I guess one was just a bit higher than normal and caused a bit of a dent. Nothing tragic, but it pissed me off. I really like them though and if these get more damaged, I'll get more!
