That Satelitte Grey convertible looks good but it's also been in an accident that apparently required a fair amount of front end repairs between the 7K & 15K mileage about a year prior but as long as the buyer goes into it with that knowledge, no harm, no foul as they say.

That is an elegant car right there. I hadn't seen this.

So great... that was another question I've wanted to research. It seems are top is INSANELY simple, and I was wondering who else had something like that?

I do admit to you and no one else that I ostentatiously drop it in front of other cars. LOL Especially times you see a guy with a Porsche buttoning the top, or doing whatever manual labor they have to do. Just by looking it doesn't seem there is nearly as good a convertible for ease of use out there?

What did you find, if I may ask?

I can NOT believe the 15 year old BMW Z8 has appreciated... it's around $150K+ right now. This article is from Dec of last year:

I do love that car tho.

Edit:
Pardon so many catch up posts and THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Yeah...I almost dropped some coin on one when they got down to the high '80s/low '90s. I regret not pulling the trigger, but the wallet wasn't overflowing with aforementioned coin at the time.

When the Federal "confiscation" auctions first started online (Bid-4-Assest) I attempted to bid on a repossessed one that had some minor damage (I think he crashed during a pursuit). I gave up around the $38K mark as $40K was my max at the time as that was the cash I had out of selling my 2001 CLK55 ///AMG and there was some premium so $38K was all I had to work with. The car eventually sold at that auction for something like $51 or $52K. Rumors on the Merc site was that the buyer only had to sink another $12K into it to get it back to perfect condition. This was all back in 2004/2005 time period. Since then I have watched as the prices crested $200K!!! Amazing

The Z8 is insanely attractive. I was interested in one at one time, but I was more interested in the RARER 540 V8 wagon which I never found. One Saturday morning I went down to the Waterstreet Company hardware store in Saus and there was a 507 parked in front on the curb. I asked about it and was told it was one of three that the guy owned. Life in Marin. I still think that BMW did nothing between the 507 and the Z8 that was worthwhile.

I'm pretty sure I know that guy. One of 3? Lol But I've also seen one of those Z8 around Mill Valley. I'm in Tib, and being priced out of San Francisco in 2010 to Tiburon with a full view made me realize nothing actually make sense here.

Driving in and out of that two lane road to & from downtown Tiburon poisoned any willpower I may have had about not owning a fun car.
