Default F-Type Fog Lights

I like having front fog lights on my car. My understanding is that fog lights are not an option in the US, but how about else where. Or maybe after market. Thanks

Pretty sure the F-Type doesn't have front fog lights in any market.
So if you want them it's after-market or nothing, good luck figuring out where and how to mount them and how to wire them!

Front fog lights are not necessary on all (or almost all?) modern cars unless they have unusually high ground clearance. The dipped lamps are significantly better than older halogen lamps and the beams are designed to provide much greater lower illumination. The LED lamps on my XJ illuminate the ground just six feet in front of the bumper, which is much closer than I can see from the driver seat. BMW are one of the few EU car makers I can think of who still routinely include front fogs, but they are style over function as BMW have always liked having lots of options to lift up the base costs.

With the trend towards adaptive lights, which will likely be standard across all models in the next 10 years, the separate full beam lamp controls will be next to be dropped. The throw can be adjusted in real time to suit the road conditions. The latest F-Type LED headlights adjust their throw based on speed so the slower you go the nearer the beam is projected. I forget the model but aren't Ford and some others already offering headlights with dynamic shutters that work with cameras to selectively block the light from hitting oncoming vehicles (that track the movement and adjust in real time)? If they are not already out there it is not a huge leap to have the cameras detect poor visibility and adjust the beam pattern to select the best option for visibility without us having to touch anything.

I had an XK8 in Marin County, CA (San Francisco) and I liked the way the fog lights lit up the road underneath the fog. I have an early F-Type and the headlights are remarkable good. I am not sure if they are better than the bi-xenon lights on my Volvo, but they clearly are more than adequate. My Benz has the worst lights, and I really wish I could have fogs or better lights on it, but MB doesn't offer fogs either.

Seems to me that proper front fog lights always have to be mounted low, otherwise the glare from the reflecting water droplets makes them no better than headlights (in medium to dense fog).

Also, and you'd think this would be a no-brainer, fog lights have to be independently controlled, that is, you have to be able to switch off the headlights and just have the fog lights. On too many cars this isn't the case.

The best fog light setup I've had was an Alfa Milano(75) Verde(Quadrifoglio), with separately switched, bright, low-mounted front lights, and brilliant rear fog lights.

I haven't yet driven the F-Type in serious fog, so it hasn't been a problem but it would be nice to have real front fog lights.

No doubt that lighting technology has gotten much better. Still have to see how F-Type lighting works in heavy fog compared to optimal low-mounted lights.
