I was recently involved in a pretty bad wreck in my 2014 XF. I'm considering parting it out so let me know what you want and your offer. The interior is still flawless but it was hit front and rear. all 4 doors are still perfect. I shut the car off after the accident. Only has 15k miles on it


drivers airbag is blown now but rest of it is still mint

 

What are the damaged parts on the vehicle? so that I am assuming everything else is in good shape

 

I bought the entire interior from a 20,000 mile '86 Corvette that got totaled. I've kept it out of the sun in my garage for years now. It's about time to put it in mine and refresh the interior. I always felt bad for the owner. Keeping the car low mileage for 15 years and then one afternoon losing it all.

If you had an XJL, I'd be thinking hard about doing the same for the Jag. Sometime around 2025 it will probably need it. Sorry for your loss.

 

What color is the car? I might be interested in some body parts.

 

Its the Lunar grey Metallic. I'm going to post more pictures. the only good body parts are the doors, roof and RF fender, everything else got smushed

 

Considering what I do for a living, I must say that this car did amazingly well by protecting me in this accident. Thankfully nothing was broken but still ended up in the hospital for 2 days with soft tissue damage. Got rear ended by a Jeep Grand Cherokee that didn't realise traffic on the interstate was pretty much stopped.

Are the wheels 19"? With only 15k miles, I assume the tires are original?

 

its 19" 1 tire has less than 3k on it, gouged it on road debris and could see cord. others are original

 

Are you still parting out? How damaged is the engine? I could be interested in wheels and a few other items, such as your s/c nosecone or full unit if it survived. Are there more pictures somewhere?

 

I shut the engine off after the wreck. Coolant, trans and oil have all leaked out from radiator now. The belt got thrown off by the fan hitting it. I have someone interested in the whole engine right now so I'll wait on him instead of picking parts off it for now. I didn't post any more pics but let me know what you want to see and I can get them
