Missing push pin thingy's - well that's just bad maintenance.

This whole thing wreaks of tom foolery.

I really like the color combination, but I'd pass on the sun roof.

I had one put in on my 09, it was like $1800 with a new headliner.
The headliner material was aftermarket & i'd say a 90% match to stock. Jaguar just charges way too much for their headliners. It's a cool mod, def not for everyone.

That is funny you mention that. That was something I always looked for when I was searching for my car, if they were missing I immediately became suspicious. As you say, that is just bad maintenance. Most of the cars I have seen while shopping for my car have them missing.

Funny as I mentioned it before every time I take the car in for my annual oil change and NYS inspection I remove one of the push pins . Just take a random pin out . When I get the car back I check the engine and they have always so far replaced the missing fastener. The reason I do this is they always tell me they do a complete look over inspection of the car. So far I trust them.

What is ACC? Isn't it adaptive cruise control? Why was it poor judgment?

It seems to be a rare option . Some people love it and some people hate it. Part of the problem is if you don't like it you can't make the system run like normal CC. Because of my driving style it is not good for me where as I use CC every time I take the car out and around town. To each their own.

Guys, guys come on, sorry. My comments were jokes. Both of them. And apparently not very funny ones at that.

ACC = Adaptive Cruise Control. Nothing wrong with it if you like it. No reason to avoid the car.

Missing engine bay vanity cover clips is not a sign of bad maintenance.

I thought the jokes were clear. Sorry.

The real questions i have are aligned with the comments on the web site. Why the outdated Carfax? Why year old pictures? Do I actually need to bring a trailer? (odd place to post if the car is immaculate as described.)

Apologies for the confusion.

ACC on the XK was decent, but much better on the XE. Still worth getting either way.

It would seem the car was put up for sale, sold, then listed again using the same info as the last ad.

A little unusual, and I'm not sure I'd want to buy a car that was flipped so fast by a private party.

If you can't make it a year with a car, there is either something wrong with the car, or wrong with you.

Poor car. Looks like someone glued a door mat to the roof...
