Great paint job! Almost in time for Ohio spring. How long to cure?

They use a new product that cures before it leaves the bay. Infrared lights + heat.

Came out pretty good. I see you got your hands on a P7 grill too, congrats!

Did you have any issues with the front parking sensors? They seem to be an issue.

They might need a tad bit of adjustment. Has to go back to body shop for front bumper splitters too.

Where did you source this grill? I know someone who would really love to get his hands on one of these. Thanks!

I must say, I was quite surprised how close the V8 upper pulley is stock to the VAP pulley. At first glance, you would say they were identical

The lip on the OEM is larger, so it deceptive stacked. But there isnt going to be a crazy amount going form 66mm (stock V8) to 62mm (VAP) With the combined crank pulley, I will be at 19.1% overdrive, exactly where I want to be (thanks again unhingd)

Ok. Spent some time working on the F-Type today.

The Velocity AP catless pipes are on. They are high quality, but the bends can be higher. The passenger side bend is bad, it hangs down quite far from where the stock pipe was.

Lowering springs and half the spacers are on. Easy swap.

The upper and lower pulleys, belt, and idler are on.
The VAP spark plugs have been swapped. The old plugs did not look that bad.
Did an oil change, sent old oil out to blackstone. Of course the filter housing is a 90mm / 15 flat, which cannot be sourced locally so I had to get one from amazon. Everyone seems to leave that part out when using a vacuum to do a change.
Found the leaking coolant hose on the top of the supercharger lid, which is a super common problems as these forums have shown. Picked up a $30 hose from jag that had 2 of the quick connect fittings on them, which was exactly what I wanted.

Final step of the process, we are finalizing the new metal air cleaner intake assembly so you can hear the supercharger scream. That has actually been the hardest part thus far. The bends on this thing are at crazy angles, and some tubes are oval. A lot of R&D and trial and error trying to get this to work, lucky I have a friend with a F-Type to also help test on top of my own.

After that its gotta go back to my body shop for a final buff and front bumper extensions. Wind screen glass is in, and makes a world of difference as well.

When the car arrives back at my garage we'll work on brake pads, rotors, repaint calipers & emblems, put new wheels on, paint emblems and badges, and some final touch up on some things. Still having a hell of a time with the exhaust tip situation.

Default stock caliper paint sucks

Even on nicest jags, stock caliper paint sucks.
Don't know why they can't do a better job with it.
