While cleaning the head of my Xj6 I've noticed a few interesting markings. I'd appreciate if anyone could explain them.
The first was presumably put there by a man named Dav, but maybe it reads "done." It is on the underside of the head, the part that overhangs. Did assembly workers do this on the XK?
The second is this curious stamp on the rear. "V12" um...huh?
