Default Plz Help! ACM Part number

Ok, Im about to purchase the Audio Connectivity Module from the dealer but I got two quotes from two different dealers.

One gave me a price of $252 for part C2P-13741 and another $323 for part C2S 44674.

I'm confused. What's the difference and why the big price difference?

Oh well, I just bougt the C2P-13741 off eBay for much cheaper than list price...so I guess I'll see for myself what the difference is.

Dealer wanted $360 for installation alone...I don't think so.

Never heard of X type parts starting C2P, all the ones I have seen start C2S
Ring either dealer and ask which models BOTH numbers are for.One maybe a supercession perhaps.

Still not sure what the difference is. Regardless, got the kit, installed it myself, had the dealer enable the CDC, it's working perfectly. I can't believe howgreat it works with my iPod. I gota 4GB memory stick that I loaded with music and will try out tonight.

All in all, definitely worth the $$$. Emptied all my CDs out of the car...never again.

Good to see another ACM do-it-yourself-er. I've had mine for a few months now and rarely use the radio or cd player.
The dealer here wanted something ridiculious like $740 for the kit+install. I ended up paying $250 for the kit, and installing it myself in about an hour. I did have to take it back to the dealer for programming, which led to a problem.. They tried for hours to get the car to recognize the ACM, but didn't have much luck. Long story short, the CD changer function has to be enabled *before* the ACM is installed. I ended up paying for only an hours worth of labor, which I didn't mind doing because everyone there is pretty nice and willing to help.

My dealer wanted almost the same, but I got the part and installed it myself, just needed them to activate the CDC feature which was only $115. They called me an hour after I dropped it off and told me I'm missing a cable. I knew exactly which one they're talking about, it was the fiber loop. I saw it, just had no idea where it should go since the manual made no mention of it. Anyway, they took one out of their kit and asked me to give them mine.

A couple of questions about the playback thru USB. I copied music into folders based on artists. The format of the file names are either "Artist - Track# - Title.mp3" or "Artist - Title.mp3". My question is, what's the order of playback? Also, how would order be affected if I group all the folders into...say...2 main folders? This is all based on my assumption that the folder/file names are used instead od ID3 tags.
