I got $10 on him making at least out of the paint shop with it. He's already started talking about (more) interior changes, so that distraction should help.

Now, 3 months from now...all bets are off.

To be fair, I've been planning on new seat skins with suede inserts. I've just been flipping from black to brown suede.
And today we took the front nose outside in the full sun to see the finished product in the black walnut, and I can, without a doubt, this is the color it will stay!! Every single nay sayer at his shop literally stood there and said it was the most F*#%*ng awesome color they have ever seen. And the pictures just don't show how deep it is.
I'm also using the stainless grill instead of the black one. This color wants a bit of bling.

The deep brown colors like the one we previously discussed on the Porsche or the Enclave are captivating and stand out because of their warmth, beauty, and rarity. Great choice, hope you're happy about your decision (for at least a month or two). Can't wait to see the whole package.
I hope you can see it in person at some point. It looks like melted Godiva dark chocolate over the gold wrapper. I'll stop listening to other people and go with my gut from now on. It's exactly what I've wanted from the minute I decided to paint it.
And you're right. This is a rare color indeed. I took the sample to our porsche dealer and the dark brown metallic looks gold beside mine!! Even the dealer said a Porsche would be stunning in this color but they don't have one this dark!!

Definitely going with the stainless grille. The black looks dead against the metallic.

Is this a custom color is it made on other cars? If so can you post a few links, curious what the final color will look like.

It's actually a stock color we found in the suppliers sample book. He says in his 30 years he's never mixed it.
I researched it and it seems its a 2004 Chrysler color. Not used long since it wasn't very popular. I guess because it was before the browns became popular. It's a stunning color but on a Chrysler mini van, probably not so much!! Lol

Just followed a link to this post. That color sounds quite intriguing. Good for you!

Love your 'quote'.

Hers the finished car! I never posted the pic on this post.
I think with all the lowering he did and paint and body work, the whole job was about 3500.00.

From this angle the top looks great. Did you do anything with it?

Thanks!
Not yet, my detailer has it for a week so then I'll work on the top.

Can't the detailer go at it? Also, are wraps flexible enough to do a top?

He only cleans and seals the tops. I want a re dyed finish. Deep black. Mine looks good but a friend had is dyed and it looked brand new. It hid the crease marks and scuffed spots where it folds.
