03 S type R no crank/ no fuel pump power/ no start
Hi guys New Jaguar s type r owner
I have an 03 that i am restoring . I drove it in my garage on my lift then I went to start it to move it forward and it wont start now
I have a service manual... all fuses, relays and diodes are working. the anti theft light is showing code 15. I tried to use a smart pro programmer to reset the key but it wouldnt let me. i have communication with my cheapy scan tool to the ecu.
I have done so many tests and i can not figure out why the car wont start and the fuel umps wont turn on.
I am really hoping someone has had a similar experience and this is just something stupid i am over looking.
Any help or suggestions are much appreciated
car currently has 145000 miles and turned on an drove then it didnt.

The internet confirmed to me, what I was thinking anyway:
Code 15 on a Jaguar S-Type indicates a PATS (Passive Anti-Theft System) fault related to the ignition key code, often triggered when the key transponder is not recognized or the ignition cylinder has been replaced with a used part containing unprogrammed keys. This fault code (B1601) means the Engine Control Module (ECM) is disabled, preventing the vehicle from starting.
This means that either the transponder pill (located in the front half of your flip key is somehow defective or the transponder-receiver ring around your ignition lock in the car (which could also be due to faulty wiring to that receiver).
The obvious first question is: How many keys do you have for that car and did you try them all already?
If your issue is that transponder, you need either expensive equipment / hard to get software to "connect" that transponder to you security module again, or you find a specialized locksmith, who can do it.
Having said all this:
If you do have a battery, which is NOT top notch (12.7V at least), all above might not apply and your real problem may be a faulty battery....
