Default A/C Blower Motor still dripping water into the footwell

Still dripping…
I pulled back the carpet on the transmission tunnel and removed and checked both rubber A/C drain tubes and both were free of obstruction. I did not run a cable back through the inlet to see if there was a blockage between the flexible rubber drain hose and the blower motor, however…And what a delight to twist the grommet of the rubber hose back onto the transmission tunnel. Silicone grease helped.

Are there any other drainage tubes or areas I should check for clogs? Are there places under the wiper blade fascia that runs along the base of the windshield?

what is causing the condensation to collect and drip onto my passenger footwell carpet?

Thanks.

I opened up a spare HVAC box I have. The first pic shows the condensate drains - this is looking from the bulkhead side. The second view down into the drain pan shows how shallow it is - probably no more than an inch of freeboard. Above that water will begin traveling into the plastic air ducts or other opening in the housing. The evaporator sits directly above the pan so I'm not sure where else the water would go. If your drain tubes are clear it's possible there's a layer of scum in the bottom of the pain blocking the drains. You might try injecting one of those foaming cleaners through the drain tubes into the housing to flush things out. Good luck.

I had a similar issue with the drain line from the gas filler recess on my Series 3 being plugged. You can’t access it from the bottom so I had to clear it from the top which is the reverse of what you’re looking at but this might help:

Good luck!

Idea for the next time you are struggling with something like that:
dishwashing liquid helps - pure or with a tiny bit of water. And probably a flathead screwdriver for "stuffing it thru".
