When I worked in Coventry as part of the X400 (X-Type) team in 1998, we also had meetings in a room, which was actually the S-Type clay-model room.
The S-Type was about 2 years ahead of the X-Type.
I was stunned by the beauty of the S-Type - and there it was standing, this wonderful shape - and all carved out of clay in scale 1:1.
I was kind of sad all those years that I don't have a picture of that clay-model - but obviously taking pictures was strictly forbidden...
I also could not find pictures on the internet of any S-Type clay model.
Recently a friend, who is a magician with computers, showed me a picture of his electric car - it had the same massive "exoskeleton" fat wiring as the Back-to-the-Future-DeLorean. But I knew already the tricks, he's able to do with pictures - that's the only reason, why I knew that those wires were AI generated...
Today I told him about the picture of the clay-model, which I sadly do not have, and I asked him, if he can produce it via AI - ....and it apparently took him only seconds to fabricate them:
That's exactly what the S-Type 1:1 clay-model looked like in the clay-model room in Coventry in 1998, and I got nice memories of that....
It's blowing my mind!
I just managed to create my first pictures ever with AI. It's Child's-Play and it really takes just seconds.
The only thing is: It's beyond my ability to grasp, how that is possible. First up 2 high res pictures of the clay model - first one I told AI to place in a studio, the second one I told AI to place into the clay room in Coventry:
...and while it was at it, I created the Back to the future S-Type (as my friend did with his own electric car) - front view and rear view - I defined colour and model-year...:
Next, I'll ask AI to print the instructions of how to build a flux capacitor...
PS: I just took the OUTATIME S-Type for a quick trip to the moon...
