Does your unit keep the factory OEM cooling fans running? Pushing air thru the factory duct and on the back of your unit?
This is critical for any aftermarket screen install.




Usually this requires the aftermarket screen to swap over 2 PCB's from the stock unit. Otherwise no fan operation and the the aftermarket screen will get hot and overheat. We have had several members buy theses type of units without the card swap and then had problems.

Yes, our Jaguar XJ 13-inch screen upgrade is designed to retain the factory cooling system operation. The OEM cooling fans and factory air ducting continue to work normally after installation, helping maintain proper airflow behind the screen and preventing overheating issues.

Our system is developed specifically for the Jaguar XJ platform and keeps the original vehicle functions working correctly. We are also aware that some low-quality aftermarket units on the market do not properly integrate with the factory hardware, which can indeed cause fan failure and overheating problems over time.

For our unit, the installation keeps the original system communication and cooling management functioning correctly, so you do not need to worry about the common overheating issue mentioned on the forums.

Some aftermarket units require transferring the OEM PCB/control boards from the original screen in order to keep the factory cooling fans, duct airflow, and certain vehicle communication functions operating correctly. Without this, some cheaper units can lose fan control and eventually overheat.

Our Jaguar XJ 13-inch unit was designed with this issue in mind. The system maintains the factory cooling operation correctly, so the OEM fans and airflow continue functioning as intended after installation. We have already considered the compatibility of the original hardware and vehicle communication during development.
