Driver’s console stuck on “Auxiliary Selected “ after battery change.
Installed a new battery and took care of all but one post-change item - the center of the driver’s console is stuck on “Auxiliary Selected .” I’ve tried a number of fixes including:disconnecting the AUX Source, cycling the media source, and performing a complete power drain (disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 30+ minutes). I also tried to force an Infotainment Soft Reset but it wouldn’t turn off using the center console mounted volume control. Any and all additional suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
You've done the first things that came to my mind, but strange things happen when power is low - even on a new battery (which may NOT be fully charged).
My best guess: Charge the car overnight on a CTEK.
If that doesn't clear things up the next day:
Start the car.
Change the audio source to radio.
Turn the car off, but don't open the door so the system times out.
Exit the car, lock it, and leave it long enough for a complete shutdown.
