Can anyone tell me how involved the replacement of the water pump outlet elbow is? From everything I can see, it's very easy if you have everything apart already, but can this simple-looking part be replaced without removing the supercharger or a bunch of intake piping? Looking to move to brass, but availability is... not ideal up here in Canada and I'd like to know if I can order this to come later and get the rest of the cooling system done in the meantime, or if I have to wait for it.

 

Big black intake pipes should come out for easier access. You will loose a bunch of coolant when the elbow is removed. You gently push in the plastic collar and withdraw the elbow. Dennis suggests leaving the existing O ring. I agree, do not use the new supplied O ring that comes in the kit.
