Crazy odometer after AFS module replacement and hard reset.
Hello everyone.
After a few months without any strange issues, my headlight developed the well-known problem. So I replaced the module (which is physically demanding) and before reconnecting the battery, I performed a hard reset by shorting the terminals together.
Today I took the car out for the first time in five weeks, and the mileage was at zero, as expected after a hard reset... I drove for a bit and then noticed that the mileage had jumped to 800, then a few minutes later to 1950, then 3000...
And worse, the car's total mileage now shows 17,000 km more than it should... as for the range, it's showing nearly 2000 km on a full tank!
Another point: although I performed the window reset procedure after reconnecting the battery the other day, the left window no longer closes automatically at the end of the closing process... I repeated the window procedure, but it's still the same.
And of course, the flashing headlight icon is still there... (I'm fed up!) So there's definitely a problem...
Has anyone else experienced this?
What should I do?
Thanks.
