The CD player has stopped playing in my XK8. It was removed and was "cleaned" using compressed air and the lens was given a light cleaning with a damp q-tip. Mechanics work fine but it never "sees" any disk. I concuded a replacement player is needed. I am not qualified to rewire anything so asking for advice/recommendation for replacing is appreciated.

You can get factory units on eBay. The seller “NOMA” is a reliable place to start looking. They have thousands of Jaguar parts not listed so email them with the exact model number you need and they will get right back to you. I’ve bought several good used parts from them and was never disappointed.
