2003 STR Modified Exhaust Sound Clip

I had my resonator removed this past weekend. I also had previously replaced the stock mufflers with the Mina Gallery mufflers.
Here is a sound clip from behind the car as well as from inside the car.

Did you just throw straight pipes in where the resonator came out or did you do an X like I did? What are your feelings on removing the cats? I know I can trick the O2 sensors, I have on every other car I've owned, but idk about the back pressure.. I know these cars pick up a lot of top end with them gone, but it might fall on it's face trying to get off the line?
