Today I got to experience the new 2010 Jaguar XFR and XKR with the 5.0 supercharged engines (510hp)!!! I was invited to the Jaguar event by a friend at one of my local dealers. I watched a movie and then had some driving training. I was at the infamous Atlanta Motor Speedway. On the track, I got the XFR up to 125mph and the XKR up to 132mph. The professional driver that accompanied me got the XKR up to 150! What a rush. They will pin you to the seat upon acceleration! When you get on the pedal, it sounds like a race car, but around town at low speed they are very quiet. The helmet was very uncomfortable though. Then we got to drive them around local roads and they were so comfortable and easy to drive. I will not forget this day for a while.
