Your R is putting in some work......

You have the 1/4 mile run of the STR?

Where abouts you stay?
We are going to have a dyno tune day here in the midwest near Chicago come spring....

Correct my "R" loves showing what its got. The guys around here are already having trouble comprehending how I am so dam fast, just wait until I mod it like I want to.

I have quite a few more vid's that have not been posted. Several vs the 08' 350z, the one posted was by far his closest run. I also have 3 runs vs a 06' BMW M3 coupe with the competition package, all 3 had the Jag out front 1/2 a car at 150mph. (1 run)45-150 (2 runs)70-150. That was a great night! The guy went out and bought an e39 M5 in order to redeem himself..

I do not have the 1/4 mi with the STR unfortunately the camera died after the burnout.

I actually reside in San Antonio,TX. I am however very mobile with my business and would love to attend the tuning event if my schedule suits. Are you doing this at Eurotoys shop? Also my compliments on your STR, what a beautiful machine..

It's great to see more and more videos of the X350 R's going at it with car touted as "performance vehicles". Awesome races and I am definitely very interested to see the races against the E46 M3 as I have a "friend" (more of a rival) who claims his E46 M3 is a beat all end all car. He claims to outrun Z06's and GT2's!

I have since called him out to race but each time he has an excuse...I guess he might know what my XJR is capable of.

I will be going to Famoso Raceway this weekend to run my 04 XJR in hopes of achieving better times than I have previously gotten at Fontana. I will definitely post the videos I take there!

In the meantime, check this video out of a Z getting spanked by my R! (even though weather conditions led to a horrible time of my pass that day)

I hope you can make it out to the tuning event.....Great deal to actually get oyur car dyno tuned for all the mods you have done instead of a off the shelf tune......

Come spring I shall have some fun videos to be posting as we have quite the racing group here in Chicago

The shop is actually http://www.eurocharged.com/

I went there when they where finishing up the custom exhaust for CLS 55 AMG.....Custon stainless long tubes, no cats, nice *** mufflers......all stainless and tig welded and sounded BADASS.....

They do some really nice work and great guys to deal with,......

Should be a fun time come spring!

Eurotoys doesn't actually have a dyno, they send your ecu out to have a tune placed on it. We are hoping to set it up at eurocharged in Plainfield, IL, near Chicago. They have a dyno, and believe they can dyno tune the jags, Riski and I will be taking our cars there so they can take a look at the ecu to be 100% sure.

Is it just me or are all M3 guys cut from the same cloth?? I'm assuming he means C5 Zo6? Unless he has has major tuning work done to his car like an Active Autowerke's S/C of HPF turbo that is a pretty ignorant claim considering "most" circumstances. I will credit the fact that his car equipped with the SMG tranny is capable of 180mph with a tune and a few bolt-ons. However that requires a loooong stretch of road and more than likely a GT2 or Zo6 would have already let off after pulling away a few lengths. The guy I ran is exactly that my friend/rival:-) It goes back to our original rivalry my 2001 XJR vs his 2004 M3 SMG coupe which was a FREAK. We had countless individuals search his car for nitrous at meets. Here is a link from our meeting in our old cars... (You may have seen already??)

http://www.streetfire.net/video/03-s...r-2_153570.htm

Sadly that was 1 of only 2 videos that I have of my 01' both of which I get pulled on. That beast had quite a few kills under its belt before it was stolen. The guy with the M3 totaled his car and picked up the 06' M3 SMG Competition with 15,000 miles on it. I of course had acquired my 04' XJR so you know a rematch was in order:-) See the 2 links below from a few weeks ago:

Run 1:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfsBoNXUGMc

Run 2:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUHVHmhQE8s

We pulled over and discussed as he declined another run.. I hear he gets upset whenever somebody questions him about that night. He wouldn't run me again until he picked up his 02' e39 M5. I have a 3 way run arranged tomorrow with the XJR his M5 and a 06' CLS55 AMG. I should get video that I will most certainly post, though they should both pull on the Jag.

I also uploaded 3 other runs vs a Gt Mustang and 350z on the youtube page for your enjoyment.

I'm looking forward to seeing your upcoming run at the track, hopefully it won't be 90+ degrees!! Nice job on that 350Z, maybe you can show him how to launch that thing??

I called Eurocharged today and had a long discussion with Greg. They are actually considering establishing a certified dealer in Houston,TX which is where I office. This truly excites me, apparently their owner is originally from Houston and desires to establish new business in my area. He informed me as to everything you gentleman are considering for your R's and I am very interested as well. I would like your feedback as soon as they touch your cars so I can potentially join the club! Another avenue I am considering for both intake and exhaust is have my friend Mark (aka Turbo Mark)who fabricates for boostlogic fab up something absolutely breathtaking for my car. He rode with me this weekend to watch my friend's 780whp 2010 Shelby GT500 run a 145mph trap Evo 9. He was shocked when we worked over a full bolt on GT Mustang and a Pontiac G8 GXP in my "R" so we popped my hood and discussed all opportunity. I informed him that there wasn't a single intake system worth a moment of my time for my "R" so we discussed what he could fab up. I am truly considering it as well as let him fab a custom x-pipe exhaust system. This guy knows exactly what he is doing Boostlogic lets him use their shop after hours to do side projects:-) His personal car is already one of the fastest street cars in Texas and he just broke it down again to install a fully built supra race block, Dodge Viper radiator and larger turbos on his already insane compound boost kit. Check out the links below of him and his 2jz 300zx you'll understand why I'm considering allowing him to work on my car:

This is his design & fab:

His car on the dyno:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Jlnk...eature=related

His car in action(He built the SC300 in the video as well & Drag Vette came to TX from Mississippi to get beat by Mark):

His shop (R35 GTR's are their new craze):

Wow! I could have sworn the M3 would have pulled the XJR up top...the fact that the XJR jumped half a car at 150mph is beyond me at the moment. I have raced a couple E46 M3's, unfortunately, the videos have been lost. From a 5mph roll, my XJR was able to pull half a car as soon as the tranny grabbed 2nd gear and then another half car when the tranny grabbed third. I really should keep my camera with me at all time.

Looking at the weather report, for some odd reason, rain is forecasted for the two days of the "Test and Tune" days at the dragstrip. Of all the days it doesn't rain in Southern California, it was this weekend that mother nature decided it was a great idea to...precipitate. If the weather permits, I will still go to the track. If not, then there is a similar event next weekend!

How did the race with the E39 M5 go? I know the M5 is a little bit quicker than the XJR but I hope the Jag was able to hold it's own against that Bavarian monster! And as for the CLS55...we all know that is just a lost cause.

Thanks for all the videos and definitely keep them coming!

I just got back from racing my friend/rival with the E46 M3 right now... surprising results!

There were two races...one from a 45 roll and one from a dead stop. When we went from the 45 roll, the XJR had the M3 by about half a car up until about 110-120...then out of nowhere, the M3 jumped out front by about 1 1/2 to two cars. It held that distance until about 150 where I started to barely claw back. Then we shut it down.

From a dead stop, it was over at the beginning. We set off and the XJR instantly pulled on the M3, to my surprise. By 150, the XJR had over 6 cars on the M3.

These results are surprising as I thought the exact same thing would happen...except in reverse. I thought I would lose from a dead stop and that I would win from a roll. Albeit that the car was not in sport mode when we went from a roll, I am sure that wouldn't have made that much of a difference.

Unfortunately, there were no cameras present during this race.

Maybe his M3 is faster than a normal run of the mill E46 M3...or maybe my car isn't running good. On my dyno sheet, the air/fuel ratio flatlines at 10:1 in fourth when it is around 11.5:1 or 11.7:1 in first through third...

I really should stop slacking off and just get my car tuned.

In the second video linked in your sig it looks like the edge of the hood lifts pretty significantly at speed. I'm sure they all do it, this is just the first time I've got a good look at one of these moving down the road.
Looks great though, I love the color combo.

My apologies for the delayed response, I've been rather busy with work these days.

Those videos vs the M3 are a little crude but it gets the point across.. Not to mention it's a great reminder of how devastatingly fast our R's truly are..

Did you ever get a chance to make it out to the track?? If so what time and trap were you achieving? I am planning on hitting the strip in the XJR March 24th. I will be accompanying my cousin whom just built a s13 Nissan 240sx with a 2jz TT Supra motor swap. I can't wait! I also want a good baseline prior to the modifications I am planning on the Jag

I re-ran the E39 M5 without the CLS 55. 2 runs from 45-120+ and 2 from 70-120+ all four of which the m5 had me by about 4 cars. Great runs though unfortunately I had my Iphone on camera mode instead of video and only captured a picture of each race. We are going to meet again and run so we can video this time. I will most certainly post.

That is awesome! I love the fact that our cars can hang with "the" benchmark sports car of recent years(until the new E92 M3). I will tell you that my friend with the E46 ofter mentions that he quite envious of the luxury and performance blend the XJR offers. I have yet to run him from a dig in both his M3 and M5 so I will get it done and give you an update, video hopefully.

I really think you should run the M3 again in sport from a roll. I'm curious to know what a difference it makes, a couple of lengths seems very probable. I had trouble pulling on a new G35 sedan out of sport mode but once activated it was a different story.

I cant wait for a tune myself but I think I am going to do both the upper/lower pulley's and exhaust prior to the tune. Send me some feedback if you get yours done.

Have a good one!

Unfortunately, out of all the sunny days we have here in Southern California, those past two weekends have been rainy. I called the tracks and they were all closed due to rain.

So instead of going to the track, I went to my local round-a-bout and did a few drift laps around that. Then I went to an industrial area and continued the shenanigans in the Jag. I know Jaguar probably never even though that their XJR would be driven in such a manner, however, it handles being drifted quite well.

My friends who were with me took quite a bunch of video...I am now waiting on them to upload the files and send them to me; However, I do have a couple photos to hold you off in the meantime.

I really do want to re-run the M3 but it seems that he is shying away from each request to race. He had a buddy in his car when I beat him...and I think word has gotten out about the results!

I did race a 350Z out of random yesterday afternoon. That was an easy kill.

Hopefully you get that pulley kit and tune sometime soon! I am very eager to see what sort or difference it will make on our cars! I really hope the transmission and the rest of the driveline can withstand the extra power though...

As for the pictures, they are attached. If you'll notice, there is a 911 Turbo in the background. Surprisingly, we were able to get that thing sideways as well!

As for the pictures, they are attached. If you'll notice, there is a 911 Turbo in the background. Surprisingly, we were able to get that thing sideways as well!

Ahh I love the pics bro!!!! That is great, I would love to see the video too. I throw a good drift in mine every chance I get!

I've been busy as ever but have managed to squeeze in a few runs in these past couple weeks. I had a guy in a GT mustang with boltons follow me past his turn to get in a dig run. See the link:

Then we did a 40 roll and I dogged him pretty bad. Then he busted a u-turn back to wherever he was headed.

I also ran my friend who just picked up a 2010 Audi S4. That thing is quick as hell top end! Stock is supposed to trap 106+mph. We had one run where i hit 155 mph and he still had 6 or so lengths on me. He is a big fan of my car and was really excited that he pulled on the boss-mobile. See the link

My friends m5 is down with tranny issues so I'm awaiting a re-run so I can get video. I'll post ASAP along with any new updates. Mods comming soon I've got to redeem myself on that Audi, I just cant let it slide

Can't wait for the video of you vs. the M5! I juuust got the videos of me sliding around in the XJR from my buddy today. They don't look as good as I hoped, however, I will still edit and upload them. In the meantime, check out this race against a convertible 350Z that I had. The guy was flying everywhere and passing cars. Luckily, I was next to him at a red light....and that was the end of that.
