No, mods are in my signature. They add up to about 40 more hp and 90 more lb.-ft. of torque over stock.

To me it looked like the guy in the STI didn't know how to drive his car.

Cool videos! Many thanks for posting.

One small point though. The car in the second video labelled STR vs Camaro is actually an American Motors Javelin. You soundly beat both the Javelin and Camaro though, congrats!

Thanks for the correction, I don't know my muscle cars all that well. I edited my post.

Great runs! Your STR seems to run very strong.

How did things shake out time-wise? The track personnel appeared to be cold even in their coats. Were the air temps in 40s 50s or 60s? Or better yet, did you calculate your DA?

It wasn't too cold, but there was a nasty head wind and a front moving in; so wind chill was bad and it did get pretty cold by the end of the night. My runs started in the low 70s and ended up in the low 40s/upper 30s over 4 hours. You can almost make out the temperature on the upper left of the building at the beginning of a couple of the runs. DA was around 7700 ft (hooray Colorado!). Time slip break down is as follows for my run against the STI (best ET run, all runs were within .2 ET and 1 mph trap):

R/T: .293
60': 2.093
330': 5.860
1/8: 8.954
MPH: 79.91
1000': 11.598
ET: 13.835
MPH: 100.53

Give me a DA around 0, and I'm sure I'd drop a full second and add 7 mph; but around here that's how it goes.

As you well know, you are definitely not running in ideal conditions. I'm sure I am off a bit but made a couple guesses/estimates and got this...

Track Brandimere
Date: 10/3
Time: 6:53 p.m.

Time Temperature Humidity Pressure
12:53 AM 57.9 F 35 % 29.77 in
1:53 AM 50.0 F 52 % 29.80 in
2:53 AM 57.0 F 36 % 29.77 in
3:53 AM 53.1 F 43 % 29.79 in
4:53 AM 48.9 F 52 % 29.81 in
5:53 AM 51.1 F 46 % 29.82 in
6:53 AM 55.0 F 37 % 29.85 in
7:53 AM 53.1 F 50 % 29.85 in
9:53 AM 70.0 F 22 % 29.80 in
10:53 AM 73.0 F 17 % 29.78 in
11:53 AM 75.0 F 16 % 29.77 in
12:53 PM 77.0 F 15 % 29.74 in
1:53 PM 78.1 F 13 % 29.75 in
3:53 PM 78.1 F 14 % 29.73 in
4:53 PM 75.9 F 15 % 29.77 in
5:53 PM 64.9 F 28 % 29.88 in
6:53 PM 54.0 F 47 % 30.01 in
7:53 PM 48.0 F 56 % 30.18 in
8:53 PM 44.1 F 63 % 30.21 in
9:53 PM 39.9 F 68 % 30.26 in
10:15 PM 39.2 F 70 % 30.36 in
10:53 PM 39.0 F 67 % 30.27 in
11:53 PM 37.9 F 65 % 30.25 in

Your numbers???click here
Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
12.648 @ 109.752 MPH

Extensively Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
12.903 @ 107.441 MPH

Extensively Modified Supercharged and Turbocharged Engines
13.322 @ 104.268 MPH

Your car runs very very well!!! My guess is 12.7 to 12.8 in ideal conditions.

This complex is situated in a park like setting inside Beltway 8 on the North East side of Houston, only 20 minutes from downtown and 20 minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport. HMP is sure to bring memorable excitement and big smiles to children and adults alike.
