Default X300 4.0 fuel consumption 26.7 mpg

Short video taken on the motorway at steady speed just under 80 mph showing the fuel consumtion varying between 19 and 29 mpg depending on the road. Later on in the clip running through the trip computor screens showing the average over 99 miles at 64 mph was 26.7 mpg. They get better mileage than you'd at first think! I have a 2000 V8 VDP and at a steady 55 MPH flat road, no wind, I get 24. Combined in town and some hwy is about 21. Outstanding for such a large car. I've had much smaller cars that didn't beat that, and they sure weren't as comfortable.

That's good going, too! I think you'd like this clip (and there are more on there). Same car, two passengers and nice warm June day on the Nurbrugring - enjoy: Nürburgring1 steve 9 juli 2011 - YouTube
