Default Spring Rubbers

I always thought my '93 coupe rode a bit hard Now I know why.
I found these little guys on the rear springs.

Do any of you have them installed?

Those are add-on expanders to compensate for low ride height/saggy springs. Been around for decades.

Cheers

Not to be a pain in the side but you may want to address that brake rotor too.

They are also used to vary the spring rate. The spring rubber causes an increase in the rate of the spring by eliminating the effectiveness of one coil in the spring. Used extensively in circle track racing and occasionally as a cheap way to stiffen springs in a street car.
