Top 20 List of To Do

Hi All. New member here! Just bought a 1995 XJS Coupe 4 Litre. Is there a list anywhere on the forum of things to do or check to make it a drivable everyday car. Have budget to spend.

I think there is a comprehensive AJ16 car list out there.

My personal must-do's on a AJ16 car are:

-new ignition coils- replace with original made in Japan coils only.
-new TPS
-new crank sensor
-New idle control valve
-New fan clutch
-New coolant temp sensor

-Check ECU connectors for water damage-seal water ingress routes on engine bay
-Check intake manifolds for cracks and gasket leaks
-Wire AUX fan to come on with A/C

Everything else is just regular common sense stuff like change fluids and change leaking hoses and gaskets like any other 20 y.o car
