Default 91Sovereign

Can someone help me find this fuel door clamp piece at the bottom of this pic? It slides in to the bottom of the fuel door (top of pic). 90’-92’ XJ40’s

It comes in a kit that includes this piece, but none of the Jag parts stores carry it online any longer. Jagbits, Welsh etc (tried them all). They take my order and money, 2 weeks later notify that it’s no longer in stock and refund me.

There is only ONE XJ40 in my county for part, but it was an 89’ with a different set up on fuel door clamp downs.
here is the picture, clamp is laying on fuel cap....

Pic above... Part number BEC8102, but this is a kit. I only need the clamp laying on the cap in the pic. It slides easily into the bottom side of the fuel cap. When the cap is pressed down, this piece spring-holds the cap in the closed position...

You bought a BEC8102 from Jagbits, paid for it, and 2 weeks later we told you we couldn't supply it?

Yes.... OR Jagbits may have been one that said that it was not in stock before I made purchase. Trust me I reached out to many. Bottom Line- NONE of the main Jag parts sources say they have it...

Jagbits doesn't have it on the website so it's impossible to pay for it lol I may have a good used one will that work? They haven't been available new in 10 years so used is the only option this is the part you need correct? So reading thru your posts and looking at your picture it appears you don't need #5 which is BEC8102 you actually need # 9 which is BEC8100 if the last 6 of your VIN are before the number 635935 so let me know which part you need in my picture and what the last 6 numbers of your vin are so I can look up the correct part for you and let you know if I have it.

My VIN is 630654.... and yes, part 9 is what I need. As far as Jagbits in particular, I was generalizing, I went to MANY sites. I don’t even remember how many and which said what. If I remember correctly it was Welsh and Jaguarparts.com that took my order and later refunded me. My point was to let post readers know that I’d exhausted all options that I at least, knew of. But yea, that is the part if you can assist...

Default 91' Sovereign Fuel Filler Door Hold Down

Would anyone where to find part #8100 which is the L-shaped piece that holds the fuel door down (it slides into the bottom of the fuel lid), and lets the door pop up when the lid is pressed down?

Hi Gary.... can you locate part #8100 which holds the Fuel Door Lid down when closed, and pops up the lid where the door is slightly pressed down?
