Default Possible Scottish forum meet / event

Hi all,
one of our members, 8bit has asked about any potential Scottish forum meet / events.

Although none are as yet planned, I decided to put a post up to see who / how many may be interested if we get one up n running?

I'm sure we have members from the central belt as well as some more far flung locations, so I'd suggest Perth as the potential meeting point.

We could get the forum banner sent over, some forum decals, try to get it into local newspapers and the local "whats on" publications, maybe even see if any local dealers are interested in getting involved?

I'm going to send pm's to any / all Scottish members that I can find to make them aware.

This will include those with the following locations in their profile...

Aberdeen - 24
Dundee - 7
Falkirk - 3
Glasgow - 48
Perth - 54 ( I suspect most of these may be Australian...lol )
Scotland - 170
Stirling - 4

If YOU think you might be interested, just add a post in to this thread.

Emails sent to the locations as outlined above.

Thanks

Thumbs up Scottish Meet

What a fine idea. The challenge of course will be timing it correctly in the hope of dry weather for the convertibles. Look forward to hearing more.
Cheers all,
Derek

Anyone in Scotland who owns a convertible can't be easily put off by the prospect of rain.

Aha, I was thinking of my convertible (X-Type) but I haven't won the lottery yet!

I would love to be part of this meet.

It would be MAGIC to see all you good enthusiasts in the flesh so to speak!

I just hope I can be available when it comes around but I am sure I'll be good to go!

And thanks to you Jim and 8bit for the ace suggestion!!!
Count me in! Stu

I'm not sure Scotland is ever warm enough for that and I'd certainly have to iron my Birthday Suit.

Ha ha, and don't forget the Piz Buin or ambre solaire?
For those in deprived neigbourhoods, that's turtlewax from Dads garage!

The sunshine in Scotland catches everyone out and many are caught out by sun blindness and mad rages of total shock in what only can be described as physical, mental and "aw hings" debilitating breakdown and disturbing visions through day and night of the deadly and feared "freckle!" due to Post Traumatic Sunshine (in Scotland!) Disorder.

This is a serious and life threatening condition and it can be cured.... Ahem,
Just £2, er sorry £2,000 can help stave off this UNTREATABLE condition!

Remember... If you see a freckle...............RUN!
If YOU are wearing it... or OH MY GOD... THEM....
er BYE!!!!

I'm game. Perth would be good as I live in Fife. The sun will also out by then.
