Hi all,i just read twojags post about having a meet down south in england.
Im in Glasgow and would be up for a meet in scotland if there are enough interested,so maybe you could post if your up for a meet in the near future ?
Hope im not over stepping the mark here just seems a good idea.

Although I don't own a Jag anymore I'd like to attend if possible. I'd have to turn up in an A6 ( no snide comments please!...lol )
Push it Kingfisher and we'll see what happens.....Delta may be up for it, as he's based in Central Scotland I think and there's maybe a few others that'd be prepared to travel.
If there was enough interested members maybe I could contact one of the local delaerships and see if they'd be prepared to host it? It might be doable!

Hi Kingfisher, as discussed I've contacted Jaguar to se if any local dealerships might be interested in "hosting" a meet for us, but will wait and see what reaction / if any I get. I could also try the delaers direct to see what response they give.
In the meantime, you might want to look through the posts here and send pm's / emails to local based members and see if they're interested that way?
Just a thought

Hi kingfisher. Sorry, I did not realise you had posted a thread as well. I am up for a meet, as you know. We could do what the boy racers do and meet at a service station for coffee and a cruise up and down the motorway in each others cars.

 

Another member from Scotland here too. Love a Jaguar get together sometime if date and location can be sorted.

 

Count me in, Only a 5hr drive from Lincolnshire. And my passport is up to date.

 

I'd like to come but it's a bit of a jaunt and I'm concerned about water in the boot. Have fun anyway.

Far more used to visiting Scotland on two wheels, I'd be prepared to give the X-type a run North. Will make a pleasant change not wearing wet leathers.

A meet would be good. Would be good to meet up and get a few pointers and stuff in person rather than in text on here. Mine is needing a couple of things. Nothing major though.
