Confusing Navigation system
Hi All,
I don't want to come across as a bit of a twit, but I probably will to those who are much more experienced at operating a navigation system on a XJ/XF because I imagine they are more or less the same.
After having used a navigation system on a X type for many years I stupidly thought that the newer system would be similar but just a bit better/faster!
Oops, not so!
On the X type, you could just type in a postcode and it would navigate to the centre of said postcode, but not so on the new system.
In fact, I could not even find my address!
I tried several times to type in the full address to store as my, 'Take me Home' address, but it could not find it.
I am no technophobe, and can usually find my way around with resorting to manuals, but even after reading the book it does not seem logical.
What am I doing wrong?
Regards
