Hello i am looking to purchase an o4 or o5 x type with a factory navigation system, its a little hard to find them with the factory navigation system. I was wondering if someone could tell me if if purchase an x type without the navigation system could i purchase a used navigation system on ebay and just plug it in, I am wondering if this would work. Could someone please help..

Thank you,

No. Not as far as I know. However, a portable Garmin or iPhone with live traffic will beat the pants off any factory navigation screen. Plus all these navigation systems use ancient resistive touch screens. I think the navi is a negative - just my opinion.

Smile Nav system

I avoid cars with Nav Systems. As these systems are satellite controlled, Most need 3 satellites to find your position. But they also work in reverse, they can track your car, something I don't like. ON STAR is the most sophisticated of these systems, it can track your car to 30 ft of its location. Yes, it is great for accidents or stolen car situation. But I don't like being watched. Yes, I am probably paranoid, but as the a song once said, Paranoia strikes deep into your life it will creep, run if you are afraid, but the man come and take you away.
