Did you manage to locate a supplier/fitter?

Default DPF

Hi Steve.
Yes got one from RT group11 on eBay.
Paid £180 incl delivery for DPF061S which is silicon carbide.
EEC the manufacturer wanted £255 delivered to NI.
I haven’t fitted it yet.
Still doing weekly trips on motorway to extinguish DPF light.

That sounds a good price.. not too sure about the fitting costs that you have got coming though :-(
Keep us in touch with how the fitment goes and improvement in mileages between DPF light activations.

Will do.
I intend fitting myself so no cost there.
I will not be going to dealer to get ECU
reprogrammed to tell it the DPF has been
changed.
Whether this is good or bad remains to be seen.
On holidays from Sunday week so no plans to do it until after holidays.

Default Mileage to service and DPF

Well I’ve been on the motorway regularly so thought DPF problem solved but now find that not doing motorway as much I have no service mileage indicator at switch on and doing local driving I don’t get DPF full light.
The car did tick over quite high recently and a motorway trip brought it back to normal.
I never liked the DPF light coming on but now I don’t have it I’m wondering what is causing that?
Thanks for any advice.

Default New DPF

Well finally got the DPF changed out. Took 5 hours total with rusted nuts causing the delay!
Anyway the car went fine for a few days but now the DPF full warning comes on regularly even on the motorway after driving at 70 mph for over an hour. I just drop gears, to up the rpm and it clears within six minutes only to happen randomly again.
I did not go to a dealer to adjust the cpu for a new DPF.
Would the EGT or the DPF sensor be the fault?
thank you.
