Hi all, as some of you may know, there's a very big event coming up, The Jaguar XJ 50th celebrations at Coventry on Saturday 1st Sept
It looks like it's going to be huge with loads going on and plenty of weel kent faces and many new ones too, see details below

To register your attendance you MUST reserve your space by contacting Peter on info@jaguarbreakfastclub.org.uk
XJ 50th Anniversary Celebration - JLR Classic Works: Saturday 1st September

JLR’s s commitment to the future of Classic Jaguar is epitomised by this purpose-built Classic facility - the largest of its kind in the world. The state-of-the-art facility consolidates all Classic operations under one roof, comprising 54 individual workshop bays, a dedicated engine shop and space for 480 vehicles. In addition to servicing and restoration of customer cars, history is being brought back to life by the meticulous rebuilding of limited edition classic Jaguars including the Series 1 E-type, and creating New Originals including the iconic Lightweight E-type, legendary XKSS and D-type. A visit to Classic works is a truly extraordinary experience!
JLR Classic works, Imperial Road, Prologis Park, Ryton, Coventry, CV8 3LF

Saturday 1st September: 9.30am – 4pm... last few places available!
To secure your place please contact us at: info@jaguarbreakfastclub.org.uk

Catering (breakfast and lunch) will be available and the showroom, workshops and astounding vehicle collection will be open to view. Due to the large numbers attending a guided tour is not possible, but staff and technicians will be on hand to discuss all aspects of the classic operations taking place at this impressive facility.
The event is free of charge (except catering).

To celebrate fifty years of the XJ model, there will be guest speakers and dedicated displays provided courtesy of Jaguar Classic. These will run through the morning and afternoon so you can choose when you prefer to visit (or stay all day!) A timeline display of individual XJ models will be arranged and all XJs will receive privileged parking outside the main frontage of Classic Works.

There are 160 parking spaces available for XJs and over 250 spaces for other Jaguars but your place must be reserved. To book your place please contact us at: info@jaguarbreakfastclub.org.uk

We will require your name and numbers attending (to assist with catering). If you will be arriving by XJ, please state the model, year and registration number as you may be invited to join the timeline display!

I'm a half hour from Cov but I will be in Cornwall on that day. Otherwise I would have joined you.
Have a fun day and please share some photos if you can?
