I have a xf x260 2 litre 160000 on the clock for the second year.
Any advice would be appreciated

Just fitted a new thermostat to my 2 litre and what a pig of a job.
After fitting it i started it up and the engine over heating came up on the dash.
At first I thought maybe there's an airlock that needs bleeding but would that put an overheating on the dash that quick?
Secondly could it have a faulty sensor or possibly ripped the wire out trying to fit that large pipe.
