Ok it's a Friday and quite a bit is going on with our event as always it seems :-)

The event's Christmas competition is now running, and has just 30 days left before names are drawn out of the hat for some great Christmas pressies for your Jaguar - if you haven't entered yet and would love a chance at a great Christmas gift for your Jaguar in time for the big day, please get your entry in sooner rather than later.

The event's website had a few hours offline earlier in the week due to the hosting company having DNS issues, but is back online all OK currently and seems to be getting busier with people taking a look at what our event offers (apart for the potential for sunburn on the day - last year I looked like a red and white zebra by the end of the day lol)

We now have confirmation of JaguarForums.com (that's me representing my home forum on the day), JagChat, net & JEC all requiring stands on the day.

I have also seen some of the awards that will be presented next year and I know the winners will love them. Our following on social media is also steadily increasing.

Please remember that none of this would be possible without the fantastic support of attendees, sponsors, supporters, & Jaguar forums and clubs - especially my home forum where all this started :-) A huge thankyou!

Ok for those of you into statistics here are the stats on where we are so far with six months to go until the big day :-)

Our forum threads have received an incredible 7,500 hits
The event Facebook page now has 294 friends
The Twitter feed has 556 followers
The new Instagram feed has a new high of 131 followers
We have 19 Jaguars and 37 attendees signed up
Our event has 13 sponsors
We have 5 trade stands booked so far
New this year we have 3 Jaguar forums/clubs having booked stands
We have 3 Presentation slots booked so far and 4 incredible awards available for you to win

If you haven't signed up yet for our free event please do so - you will have a great Jaguar day out and most importantly it is free! Also please don't forget your Jaguar this Christmas - enter the event Christmas competition for a great chance at a Christmas gift for your Jag :-)

Hot off the press - I have just heard from XK Enthusiasts Club & F-Type Enthusiasts Club and they would like be involved with our 2019 event!

We still have yet to discuss & figure the details out, but this does now mean our 2019 event will give you the chance to meet not just JaguarForums.com, but also JagChat.net, the JEC, XKEC, & the F-TypeEC!!

An absolutely massive thankyou goes out to everyone involved with our event - if you run a club or group supporting Jaguar owners and would like to get involved too please just get in touch, or if you own a Jaguar and would like to attend please just pop a post on a forum thread or drop a message via the event website - it would be great to have you along on our biggest free Jaguar event to-date :-)

It's Friday again, and a lot has been developing or in progress with our event.

The Christmas competition has had entries coming in steadily, offering two wash systems, two leather cleaning packs, and a unique engraving of your Jaguar model with your number plate on it, all up for grabs and to be with the winners in time for Christmas. The competition is only open to entries for another 23 days so if you haven't entered yet please get your entry in sooner rather than later, rather than miss out on giving your Jaguar a great Christmas :-)

Our website & forum threads have been getting busier, two more Jaguar clubs have signed up for pitches at our event, and I am currently working on the one promised new feature for our event as well as another feature that will make our event even more of an all year thing for everyone. This has meant a little less social media activity promoting our event , but I am hoping the background work will pay off for us :-)

Now for those of you into statistics here are the figures, noting that I have asked if the XKEC & F-TypeEC clubs can split their block down into models and years, but currently they are still represented by a block. If they are able to split this down I will be able to make a start on the usual year and model statistics for everyone.

Thanks for the thought Graham.. Can't see it myself though :-)

Its very much a team effort between signed up attendees, sponsors, supporters, and so much more - every year that little bit bigger than the year before.

I have to admit that when I put it to sponsors that I wanted to be able to run the event Christmas competition again, I didn't expect to come away with not just wash systems, but also leather cleaning kits and a even unique Jaguar engraving for the winners.. that really exceeded what I thought I would be able to manage for everyone - well chuffed :-)

Add to that the incredible response this year from not just my home forum here at JaguarForums.com, but also a number of other clubs and forums now, & it has really blown me away.. the next event genuinely does look to be the biggest one to-date with more of everything, and even a new feature to come, all thanks to the massive help of everyone around me :-) I just hope everyone enjoys the day itself and what I can manage to bring to them between events.

Our event in black and white (Jaguar style)

For those of you looking at how our latest event is developing it would be great to be able to explain in black and white why our event is the one free event to sign up for :-) (note the pun on the picture above from our 2018 event :-))

Our event is free - as in genuinely free - you can literally turn up with nothing but your Jaguar and still have a fantastic Jaguar day out. The only costs are for food and drink (Denbies usually give attendees a 10% discount on your lunch to help :-)), and the prize draw where you can win any of a number of Jaguar orientated goodies for you and your Jaguar for a small cost per ticket.

We run a free Christmas competition for attendees, and try to negotiate discounts through the year for you to try to keep your Jaguars running costs down - meaning it is not just a one day event but there is always something going on that you can gain from :-)

For the first time ever our event will not just have JaguarForums.com attending but also the JEC, XKEC, F-TypeEC, and JagChat.net enabling you to meet the people that will support you through the life of your Jaguar.. We will also have trade stands with show prices, free knowledgeable advice, talks to help you learn the tricks of the trade, and more.

Our event isn't event 'just' an event - it has two elements with a convoy/drive through Sussex/Surrey countryside as well as a main event in the largest wine estate in England - noting you can also pick up some incredible award winning wines there too :-)

You will receive a free Welcome Pack with event info, plus a range of select info we know will be of relevance and interest to you, discounts, and samples on registration - all when you arrive at the start point, and your Jaguar will be in with a chance at a number of awards at the main venue, and should you enter the Prize draw you could win any of a number of must-have prizes for you and your Jaguar.

New this year we even have a Jaguar quiz to test your knowledge of our Jaguars with photos of the winner(s) appearing online.. :-)

All this - for free - you may have seen the Black Friday deals but our event beats them all :-) So go on, why not sign up for our next event? You get so much more than just an event..

If you are worried you live too far away, don't worry we've got you covered with a special deal with the local Holiday Inn Express guaranteeing room availability at a fixed price for any attendees needing accomodation - and it's less than 10 minutes from the event start point :-)

You have nothing to lose by signing up for our event, and so much you wouldn't expect with a free Jaguar event :-)

Welcome to our Eighth JaguarForumsUK Convoy & Meet event!
This will be our sixth year of running this event, and is genuinely the biggest, most feature packed event we will have ever run.

Our event is a great Jaguar day out for you, your Jaguar, and your family, with a convoy element, as well as main one day event - including:

Free Welcome packs
A range of class awards that your Jaguar could win
Talks on how to look after and maintain your Jaguar
Trade stands with great products & services at show prices, plus free advice.
Trade demonstrations showing you the trade at work
A quiz to test your knowledge of Jaguar, with a great prize up for grabs
A great prize draw with prizes ranging from must-haves to incredible treats for you or your Jaguar

Add to this a convoy/drive through glorious Sussex and Surrey countryside, a superb venue at Denbies Wine Estate (the largest wine estate in England), great Jaguars spanning all walks of life, incredible company and you have our event. And not just all this, but Denbies have a range of award winning wines you can buy and take home with you, plus a carvery restaurant with great food and drink to keep you going through the day.

So go on, treat yourself and your Jaguar to a great day out. Our event is free to sign up for and attend, with just a small fee for entering the prize draw on the day, making it ideal for you and your family, even if you are on a budget! Please feel free to take a look at our previous events to see what to expect, and what attendees thought of our event - we have a great Jaguar day out for you, and would love to welcome you to our 2019 event :-)
